The period of time true friendship could last, must never be mentioned, as it is the duty of those that share the relationship and for the interest of both parties. The joy and satisfaction of the relationship is the reason it is always said that true friendship should never end.
An example of true friendship that has lasted so well in our time can be compared to a sweet marriage that lasted for a good time of seventy eight (78) years. She married when she was 22 years old. This makes her about 104 years today. She is still getting the reflection of the good time she had with her good friend, which she lost some fifteen months ago.
What a thing of joy to have a trusted friend like Pa. Odum Ike of blessed memory. The most cherished, and understanding friend/husband of Madam Amercy Odum. Madam Odum lost her most lovely and trusted husband to the cold hands of death in the ripe age of 108 years old. Precisely in March 26th 2009
